Debate at INTI Nilai

Sorry for the long and long absence. Was having the greatest time at INTI Nilai.

One word, to describe it..

Super-duper-fucking-hyper-fantastic-best-wonderful-great-scoping-arena.

Gosh!!Its darn nice over there. Though i have to mention we were there for the debate competition. Left Penang last Friday, on air-asia, whooohooo college so generous to sponsor us :D
A group of 14 people went including our lecturer advisor, Ms Kok and debate coach, Ms Irene. They are wonderful and steady lecturers man omg..And and not forgetting the rest of the team.
I'll begin with the two girls: Hui hui and Pei Yin.
And the guys : Aaron, Yang, Kelvin, Kin , Jien, Danesh, Yusoff, Daryl, Jay, me

So having 12 people going for the competition we had three different teams though from the same college.

Team 1: IICP 1
First speaker: Aaron
Second " : Me
Third " (BDSM man) : Yang
Reserve : Kel kel

For team 2, they shuffled their speakers so its uncertain...

Team 2 : IICP 2
First : Jay
Second : Yusoff
Third : Jien
Reserve: Danesh

And for team 3 im not too sure though..

Team 3 : IICP 3
First : Pei Yin
Second : Hui hui
Third : Daryl
Reserve: Kin

And therefore we march off to the competition with 'semangat yang berkobar-kobar'.

We reached Inti Nilai on a Friday afternoon, and headed to our designated-great-fantastica hotel(hostel) but its like a hotel anyways. Guys and girls different..of course T>T
Unfortunately, im unable to upload some pictures of the hostel but it is great that is for sure though we were given special rooms for guest thats why. :D
Got changed, settled our stuff and headed out for lunch.
Decided to try the cafeteria food. So, there was chicken rice, economy rice, vegetarian food, koay teow th'ng, and western food and freaking alot of others. Dammmm niceeeeee ahhhhhhhh

Having said that, we tried the economy rice, after paying everyone was basically saying " Fuck man why so cheap 1?"
My meal, SOTONG, a whole bunch of it, vegetables, and 2 eggs. RM4.

They rock man...halelujah if only its that price back in INTI penang.
Then, after the meal we had a last minute debate practice for about an hour or so.
And then, it was exploring time. First we head down to the bus stop to meet our long lost Jan Jan and to see her off cause she was coming back to Penang. Then we headed to the nearby shophouses to check it out and there it was.
Behold!!! POOL and a CC side by side. o man heaven O.O
So we pool-ed til the night and go back to the hotel after that.
Had enough fun there also and then slept early cause have to wake up at 6 30 the next day.

Day 2
Dressed in formal attire, we headed down to the venue where we are suppose to be debating at.
Quite a distance though from the hotel but this proves the size of the campus. Even had to take a fly over across the road to get there.
I'll skip to the debate part cause this part here we only were stressed out pressing our balls :D
okay...

First round,
IIUC4 against IICP1
Motion : This house believes that free condoms should be given to prisoners.
Result : Lost by 4 points

Second round,
IICP1 against IIUC7
Motion: This house believes that Israel should not give in to Hezbollah's demands.
Result : Lost by 1 miserable point.

Third round,
IIUC7 against IICP1 ( again =.=)
Motion: This house believes that foreign ownership should not take over key local industries.
Result : Lost by 1 point again.

Fourth round,
GIIC2 against IICP1
Motion: This house believes that the state should fun teenage abortion.
Result: LOST. AGAIN

Fucking hell..but nevermind, lesson learned and its worth it.

Spent the rest of the day enjoying ourselves only lah since we are quite sure we wont make it into the semi finals already.
And and, came out with a name for some chiqa from inti subang. Holi hell dam cun..

Day 3
Went over to the debate venue to check the results. Not too disappointed cause we already know
whats it gonna be =)
Watched the semi-final between ICSJ and IIUC. That chiqa can debate like a pro man holi crap..
And she loves chess :D inside joke btw
Well, she managed to advance into the finals but we had to leave though. Had to pack up to get ready to go home. Last i'll ever see her T.T but who cares. so darn far lol
So, home it is. Got on the plane and tata to KL.


O yeah did i mention that in INTI Nilai, every ten metres you would feel happy. o ma godd the chiqs there are overloaded like the information in internets man. holi fucking hell, even the hostel girls are of some standard dammmm

And the facilities there are great, bball courts, swimming pool, volleyball, football and lots more which we did not get a chance to check it out.

Wel..thats bout all there is to the trip. Besides missing the place so dam much, learned alot from it..might be doing it again when theres a chance ;D
Besides, the history lecture from Franc is great hahahhaa
